Inkubate

A prize of $5,000 will be given annually to an unpublished or self-published novel that combines elements of literary and mainstream fiction. A second-place prize of $2,500 and a third-place prize of $1,000 will also be given. The winners will have their work formally reviewed by a literary agent and/or editor at a mainstream press. Larry Beinhart, Jennifer Clement, Martha Frankel, James W. Hall, and Jane Smiley will judge. The deadline is March 31. There is no entry fee.
