February 10, 2012
Three prizes of $3,500 each are given annually for books of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction (including creative nonfiction) published in the previous year. Books by writers who were born in or are residents of Virginia or, in the case of nonfiction, books with a Virginia theme are eligible. Submit three copies of a book published in 2011 by February 10. There is no entry fee. Send an SASE, call, or visit the website for the required entry form and complete guidelines.
