Gregory O'Donoghue International Poetry Prize

A prize of €1,000 (approximately $1,120), publication in Southword, and a weeklong residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annaghmakerrig, Ireland, is given annually for a poem. The winner also receives up to €600 (approximately $672) in travel expenses, as well as lodging and meals, to give a reading at the Cork International Poetry Festival in Cork, Ireland, in February 2016. Patrick Cotter will judge. Submit a poem of up to 40 lines with a €5 (approximately $6) entry fee or five poems of up to 40 lines each with a €20 (approximately $22) entry fee by November 30.
