A prize of $2,500, administered by the Jewish Book Council, will be given annually for a debut work of fiction by a U.S. writer published during the current year that explores Jewish themes. The winner will also receive a weeklong residency at Ledig House International Writers Colony in New York's Hudson Valley. Publishers may submit five copies of a novel or story collection (or bound galleys) published in 2013 with a $125 entry fee by October 7.
