Passages North
Fiction Prizes
Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in Passages North are given biennially for a short story and a short short story. For the Waasmode Short Fiction Prize, submit a story of up to 7,500 words; Caitlin Horrocks will judge. For the Just Desserts Short Short Fiction Prize, submit a story of up to 1,000 words; Roxane Gay will judge. The entry fee for each award is $15, which includes a copy of the prize issue, and the deadline is March 15. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
