Fellowships ranging from $7,000 to $12,000 each are awarded biennially to New Jersey poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers to support new work. Full-time New Jersey residents who are not matriculating students and who have not received a NJSCA fellowship in the past five years are eligible. Submit five copies of a work sample completed within the past two years (up to 10 pages of poetry, one chapter of a completed novel with a one-page synopsis, or 10 to 15 pages of short fiction or creative nonfiction) by July 15.
