meridianUVA@gmail.com Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in the Spring/Summer issue of Meridian are given annually for a poem and a short story. Using the online submission system, submit up to four poems of no more than two pages each or a story of up to 10,000 words with an $8 entry fee, which includes a subscription to Meridian’s electronic edition, by December 30.
