Devil's Kitchen Reading Awards
Two prizes of $1,000 each and an all-expenses-paid trip to give a reading at the Devil's Kitchen Fall Literary Festival at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale are given annually for a book of poetry and a novel or a collection of short fiction or creative nonfiction published in the previous year. Publishers and writers may submit one copy of a book published in 2012 and a brief biography, including publication history, with a $20 entry fee by February 1.
