A prize of $7,500 is given annually for a book of fiction or creative nonfiction published in the previous year. The winner will also receive a weeklong, all-expenses-paid summer residency at the Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, New York. Authors, publishers, agents, or readers may submit eight copies of a book (or bound galleys) with a $60 entry fee by December 31.
