Four prizes of $1,000 each and publication by the Poetry Society of America are given annually for poetry chapbooks by poets who have not published a full-length collection. Two fellowships are given to poets ages 30 and younger living in the United States, and two fellowships are given to poets of any age living anywhere in the United States. Rigoberto González and Marilyn Nelson will judge the 30 and under competition; Linda Gregerson and Major Jackson will judge the open competition. Submit a manuscript of 20 to 30 pages with a $12 entry fee by December 22. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
