A prize of $6,500 Australian (approximately $6,885) and publication in Creative Nonfiction will be given for an essay that incorporates the people, landscapes, or cultures of Australia. A prize of $2,500 Australian (approximately $2,645) will be given for an essay by an Australian citizen. Lee Gutkind and Leah Kaminsky will judge. Using the online submission system, submit an essay of up to 4,000 words with a $20 entry fee by January 31. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
