The Human Library's Many Books

5.01.14

A Danish organization challenges library patrons worldwide to confront prejudices and change perspectives through conversations with “human books.”

Type: Indie Bookstore

Bill's Bookmobile was established in 2007 through donations from family and friends to honor the memory of the late Bill Harper. It offers a variety of used books, records, CDs, and DVDs and is open year-round. All proceeds support Hawaii's 50 libraries.

The graffiti featured on the Bookmobile is the work of Missouri artist "Scribe" who completed the project as part of the 2013 Pow Wow Hawaii Art Festival.
