Have been away from speakeasy for more years than I care to think about. My time spent here goes way back, back to the early 90's. What a time we had then. Regulars came to check as often as they took a deep breath. No slow traffic there. The format was different. I guess all things/sites must change or die, but we did have a wide choice of topics, and "stops" to improve our skills and dreams.
One site was called: The Ten Minute Exercise. Each week someone would suggest a topic, usually one word, and then you wrote for ten minutes, no corrections, no cheating, and then posted your work, and then once a week, usually on a Wednesday, we would critique each posting. We truly got to know one another, and what a skill builder! Another great site was called, "Of love, again."
Good times remembered.
