Hello from MaryAnn in Peekskill, NY........	Can't Post

Just a quick note to say "hello" to you all!
I am a SAHM who writes, performs, and sometimes even has her poetry published. Unfortunately, quite a few of my publications don't carry any credit with P&W (like local newspapers and community-based anthologies such as Blood Beats in Four Square Miles and Let The Poets Speak) so I'm not listed in the directory (yet).
Recently performed at the HVCCA (Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art) and that was a great experience!
Looking forward to my publication in the 2013 edition of the annual The MOM Egg in April 2013 though, and just sent a chapbook manuscript out to a contest.
Planning on reading this coming Thursday at the Bean Runner Cafe here in Peekskill. It's a free event. Come on by if you're in the area!

What's an SAHM?

I can't make it to your reading at the Bean Runner, but I did live for ten years or so just up the road -- Route 9, to be precise -- in Garrison and Cold Spring.

SAHM is an acronym for stay-at-home-mother. My boys are 12, 10, and nearly 4.
