Resaerching Literary Agents and writer Recommendations Can't Post

Hi!
I am new to this writing thing, though I am a avid reader.

I am currently looking for an excellent published writer to help me out with writing a autobiography of a friend of mine who worked +15 years in gov security overseas. He had a rather exciting and verifiable career. I think it would make for an interesting story. Anyone I would really appreciate an pointers or suggestions.

Thanks,

pongo

Welcome, and good luck with your search. If it's a truly wonderful story, you might (just possibly) be able to interest an agent, who would then arrange for the "as told to" author. Otherwise, you won't get an established author to work with you without making a substantial payment.
