Greetings!! Can't Post

I'm the "new kid on the block"! I have so many questions. I have a small collection of sonnets, I'm just not sure what to do next or even how to get the money to do it. Any suggestions will be most helpful indeed.

Greetings, ladibella!

What is it you want to do? You can try to get the sonnets published individually and then later interest a publisher in a book or chapbook. That need not cost you anything, so raising the money becomes less of a problem.

Re: [pongo] Greetings!! [In reply to] Can't Post

Our boat went down four months ago and we have been trying to get back on our feet ever since. Hence it was our home! As you are following a dream - well, I as well have a dream of being a "successful" writer. We were on our way to the West Indies when it went down, we escaped with only the clothes on our back literally! So, finding the money to follow my dream has proved to be difficult. I have thought about entering a contest or two to raise the money. I also work with herbs and I am in the process of recollecting the material for that book as well. My husband and my sister in "arms" are gurues in computer graphics so I have the cover and everything set I just need that badly needed break!

Well, if you want to make a living writing sonnets, the first step is to go back to the 1800's, which was the last time that was possible.

I want to make a living writing period!! I have been in the music industry since I was sixteen. Now I want to write and try my hand at music in the folk music genre. I would love to talk with you on the phone; it would be much easier than this for me. I am not very computer literate. My email address is ladibella13@gmail.com once you email me there I will send you my phone if you would like.
