Welcome, Karim.

With writing, learning and doing very much go together. It's much easier to teach someone to do it better than to help them start from the blank page. But we'll do what we can to help in any case.

What do you want to write?

Thank you , I'm thinking about mainly poetry and fiction stories.

But i can't possibly see how i could write a 300 page book .

Three hundred pages seems like a lot until you get to page 275. But you just need a story idea that is big enough to fill a book. Not every idea is that big.

AND by the way,I don't to sound cocky or anything but I have a little experience, as I often write poems and song lyrics and I have a certificate of achievement in the English language.

Re: [pongo] Um.... [In reply to] Can't Post

Well I have an idea.

It's about 13 year old boy called Jake Rubia who was an evil mayan tyrant in a past life but ow leaves a quiet life in the town kingsveild. But near the end of the school year spirits appear. Now, there are some spirits that used to be his slaves and they are ripping apart the veil between life and death seeking revenge and others are demons who were his guards and soldiers that are still loyal to him . But if the veil between life and death is broken all humanity will suffer the worst fate.

So will he use his demon minions to put the spirits back to their world ,risking his morality and setting the demons free (as he suspects their betrayal),or will he find a way to convince the spirits calmly ?

Not my cup of tea (Good vs. evil? I wonder whose side you will take.) but there are others here who might be interested in discussing it. Maybe a topic in the fiction section on brainstorming ideas?

Well I did brainstorm this idea without really thinking about it.

But I posted it anyways.

"Welcome" just means welcome. "Om shanti" is Robert's standard signature, which you can look up or not, but isn't directed personally to you.

As to "now what," you join in the general conversation of the community, learn what you can and teach what you can, just as we all do.
