Hello, I'd like to introduce myself! Can't Post

How are you?

I'm Esse (or Essie... the first is just pronounced without the "e" so it would be "Ess"). I am twenty years old and a third year community college student in New Jersey. I'm a Liberal Arts major and I don't really like it; it feels directionless. Anyway, I am working on a novel called Comeback and I'm almost thirty thousand words in. It's nowhere near done and when I do finish it, I'm going to rewrite it completely, then ask people if they would like to read it.

I've been published in school magazines. Two issues of Tangents, a literary magazine that my high school did, once in Drumbeat, the literary magazine for any student who wanted to be published in it and once in Open, the magazine for the school's students who took Creative Writing the previous year. I love writing. I've been keeping a journal since I was twelve, and I've been writing poems and short stories since I was fourteen. Hell does pay sometimes because if it weren't for those circumstances, I wouldn't be here writing.

I have been on P&W for a while. I come sometimes, but I haven't used the forums until now. Hopefully I'll be using the forums more often.

Hope to speak soon. =D

Welcome Essie. I hope you'll find us useful.

Where in New Jersey are you? Some of us have roots there. (I grew up in Paramus and went to Rutgers.)

I'm on the border of Trenton and Hamilton but I technically live in Hamilton. I've lived in Lawrence as well.

A little further south than my territory, but still New Jersey. Welcome!
