It's wonderful to meet you. Can't Post

Hello Speakeasy! I'm Jazmyn, and I'm a 19-year-old college student from Chicago, Illinois. I'm currently in-between colleges (as in, I'm in the process of transferring), and if anything my major will be English. I've been writing as long as I can remember; I don't over-exaggerate when I say it. Lately I've been doing research about publishing, submitting to magazines, and just trying to understand the world of writing and publishing because I've already decided that I need to be a part of that world. I have not published or submitted anything, and I'm starting to discipline myself so that I can finish what I start. Still, I figure I have time. I hope I can learn from this community, and it's nice to meet you all.

It sounds like you are off to a great start, I didn't start writing until I was 38!
Welcome!

John, we don't post our own writing here, although many of us do exchange work (either through the local message system or email).
