My name's Alycia. I'm a twenty-seven year old Georgia native. If you want to be technical, I started writing when I was eight years of age. Over the course of my grade school years, I won a number of writing contests, including one that allowed me to get a short story published in a book. After that, I was published one other time by a company that is now defunct. I've mostly dabbled in childrens writing, specifically short stories that I would like to turn into picture books. Recently, though, I have started writing poety. I have submitted one poem, but have not heard back yet.
Beyond that, I enjoy normal young female activities such as shopping and spendinng time with friends. I also enjoy spending time with animals, especially my family's two dogs.
