Couldn't Log In And P&W Had No Record of my Account	Can't Post

I was a bit shocked to discover that I couldn't log in today, and when I provided my email address to have my password reset, was informed by a dialog box that there was no record of my email address in the system.

Bizarre! Granted, I haven't posted here in probably 5-8 months, but I subscribe to P&W mag and have contributed many posts/comments here over the years.

Did P&W recently purge its user records or something?

My UID used to be SpM, for any mods who'd like to investigate the problem.

I can't say that it wasn't user error, but I had an account for more than a year before I could log on and leave comments in the forums.

You were likely caught by the changes to the registration system. The details are here: http://www.pw.org/speakeasy/gforum.cgi?post=301397#301397

It sounds like you might have had a Speakeasy account, but not an account on the rest of the site, when the change went in.
