Was my post deleted? If so, I should have probably made it clearer that I was kidding. I'm the friend who recommended this site to him.

Welcome!
I am new here too, but I can say that this is a great group of very supportive people. I have already gotten many insights from the writers here.

thanks for all the greetings. Gentris was the one that introduced me to here, and as he stated is a friend and meant no harm by what he said.

Nick, welcome. You will find all types here ranging from traditionalists with a complete disdain for any new concepts in publishing, to innovative and well published authors with great insight, to bleeding edge explorers who are trying to re-invent publishing. You will get honesty here if not always kindnesses and I find that more rewarding than if everyone here was like my little kitten.

Hi Nick and welcome to the Speakeasy.

Yes, Gentris and I have had some mail about the miscommunication and I think it's all worked out now.

In any event, I'm delighted he's invited you here and I hope you enjoy your participation.

Regards,
Dana
