There's more to novelist Scott Turow than a knack for compelling
plotlines and a sales history that stands at more than thirty million
books--and we're not just talking about his day job as an attorney. Read the profile
from the May/June 2010 issue of Poets & Writers Magazine.

CHEERS FOR 40 YEARS!

community to reflect on why they value Poets & Writers. As cowboy poet Larry Maurice
wrote in last week's installment, "For the last 15 years,
Poets & Writers has made it possible for me to take my poetry to
more places than I could have ever imagined."

WRITERS RECOMMEND

In the latest installment of Writers Recommend, Robert Vivian writes, "More and
more my foremost, abiding desire is to write books of a
surpassing strangeness, and to do this I've had to hold closely to
Joyce's famous adage of silence, cunning, and exile every day."
