do you have to sign in every time you enter this site??	Can't Post

i've been using this site for years but never got around to asking this question.

everytime i come to the speakeasy page- i have to resign in. i check the 'remember me' box .. and still. each time i leave and come back - i must resign in.

is that what everyone else does ? or do i have something enabled .. or Disabled on my computer that makes me have to go thru that each time.

My browsers do it for me. I use mostly Chrome, sometimes Firefox.

You may have cookies disabled or blocked. The Speakeasy needs to save a cookie on your system in order to be able to remember that you're logged in. I've tested it with Firefox, Safari (Win), and Chrome and haven't come seen any problems with it. The name of the cookie should be gforum_##########_remember, where ### is a string of numbers.

I'd just rather not start a new thread.

I've gotten a couple of zones where everything is listed as new. Is this a glitch in the system, some reorganization, or a problem with my browser?

I'm actually not sure what causes it, but it's not specific to you or your browser. I think it has something to do with the way GForum handles expiring cookies.
