Q: How did you first hear about P&W's Directory of Writers and how has it helped
you in your writing life?
A: I've been reading Poets & Writers Magazine since I began writing several years
ago. I first heard about it in a talk given by Sue Monk Kidd, and have come to cherish
it. When the Directory of Writers went online, I was quick to add my information
so people might learn about me, my work, and my speaking availability. I love feeling
part of the writing community. Writing is such a solitary endeavor -- when you have
an opportunity to connect with other authors and readers, you grab it with both
hands.
