Pleased to meet you. Can't Post

Hi all,

I've been lurking for awhile and decided to finally introduce myself. Name is Tyler. I call myself a writer having never been published and I am okay with that, hope you all are too. HaHa.

Other than writing to soothe my soul I am currently working on expanding an old short story into novella/novel form, it's a pretty daunting task I must admit.

Also, I would like to thank everyone for the things I have learned so far through my lurking and future thanks for what I will learn.

Pleased to meet you all,
Tyler

Do you write? Then you're a writer, and you're one of us.

Welcome, Tyler.

Writers write. I think it's really helpful to call yourself a writer before publication - at least for me, treating it as a part of my identity helped me to develop the confidence to stick with it.

I am also taking a long short story (ha ha) and adding a few things I know it needs to be much longer, and I am thinking the original 23 page story and I think it will be really 135 pages when done. Good luck on your project and keep on writing.
