Poetry Competition, among other awards, and was recently a fellow at the Fine Arts
Work Center in Provincetown. Since she's met with continued success, we thought
we'd ask her about her experience entering writing contests.

P&W'S DIRECTORY: A TOOL FOR WRITERS

Q: How has being in P&W's Directory of Writers helped you in your writing career?

"It's hard to write and promote simultaneously. The P&W Directory relieves the
writer because it serves at the writer's behest; it's a painless and highly regarded

Q: How did you first hear about P&W's Directory of Writers?
"I've read Poets & Writers Magazine for a long time, and used the forums to
decide on a graduate school, so seeing the Directory online and adding myself seemed
natural."
