P&W WRITERS EXCHANGE WINNERS IN NYC

The winners of the 2008 Maureen Egen Writers Exchange Award, Sandra Beasley (poetry)
and Willett Thomas (fiction), both from Washington, D.C., will conclude their whirlwind
visit to New York with a public reading of their award-winning manuscripts at Housing
Works Bookstore Cafe (126 Crosby Street) on Sunday, October 19 at 3 PM.

Idra Novey, Leigh Stein, and Annabelle Moseley are the first, second, and third

Poets & Writers is pleased to cosponsor the monthly series The Practicing Writer
at the Asian American Writers' Workshop. Upcoming panels include "MFA Programs Today"
