Hi - memoir from MV, advice?

Hi -
My best friend and I recently left our positions as magazine editors to move to Martha's Vineyard and work on our memoir.
We have started some free-writing on our blog, amithereyet.uber.com regarding our experiences - in the magazine world, transistioning to the island, our reality television contract, romance, eating disorders, alcoholism - there's a lot there.
