There's a great Live Journal community for people applying to grad school. Just type "So you want to go to grad school" into Google, and you'll get there. This place has been invaluable for reading SOP examples and simply listening in on people's questions about grad school. The community is open to all fields, but there are quite a number of English people. The Live Journal community is also trying to start their own version of WhoGotIn, although it's limited to the admittedly small pool of LJ people who participate. You can find it here: http://community.livejournal.com/who_got_in/profile Yes, autoadmit is pretty chaotic, and I don't think it will be a very useful site for easily finding out who got in where.
