Trouble getting into Archives Can't Post

I've been trying to get into the Writing Archive (if I remember right, there's a thread there called After the Book Sold, which I want to read.) In the Archives, when I click on Writing, I get an Internet Explorer message that the page is unavailable. My display settings are flat and collapsed (boy, that makes an interesting sentence when reading back over...) Anyway, can you help me out?

Thanks!

Re: [lucyclare] Trouble getting into Archives [In reply to] Can't Post

That's strange. I just went there without a problem. Try it again, and if you get the error again, click refresh. If IE got a timeout once, it may be caching the "unavailable" status without really trying it again. If that doesn't do it, let me know and I'll look further.

As a side note, our T-1 (high-speed data) line was down for about five hours yesterday morning (thank you, Verizon). That would have caused problems between the Speakeasy and the database server where the messages are stored. It was back up at 12:30pm, so if you tried then that would have been the cause.

Chris, I didn't have trouble locating the archives or the topic so I'm not sure why you're getting an error.

Try it this way. Go to the "Search Posts" icon at the top of the page and follow the drop down menu to the Archives. You may be able to get in that way. If not, send Jason a message and maybe he can help another way.

Dana

Whoops! Hi Jason.

Hi, Dana. Don't mind me, I'm just doing anything and everything I can to avoid doing the work I should really be doing right now. It's a site for uploading/editing images and ordering prints and enlargements. I've finished the challenging part already. The rest is tedium.
