Renaming/Deleting Threads Can't Post

Is it possible for a user who has started a thread to rename or delete it afterwards?

I think it should be possible to rename a thread at any time, and delete it before any replies have been posted.

I've seen number of threads I think the originator would want to rename to better reflect their intent.

Bob S.

PS - While I'm at it, I think it's dirty pool to be able to delete a post after replies have been posted. Ideally, changes to an original post (even withdrawal) should be reflected in future posts within the thread.

I know that as Administrator and Moderator I can do that but I don't know if that function is available to the user. Jason?

Ah, and Dana is very good at deleting--to a point where she can change meaning at the wave of her wand.
