database searches	Can't Post

At the old SE posters used to be able to search the database for userids, email addys, etc. and it was a great way to see who was registered and who was not, as well as find your own old userids. I can't find any way to access the database with this software. Does that mean it's closed to us?

If you go to "Who's Online" and click on "View Member Directory" at the top, you can access the directory, but it's a pain in the patoot to sift through 19,000+ registered users to find the ones who made it over. There's a search window to look for specific people, but I don't necessarily remember everyone I liked to talk to. I'd like to know if there's a way to sort members by who's used the Speakeasy since the changeover.

thanks, Dee. I see what you mean, but at least there is a alpbabetical index attached, once you get started. The problem is, all the old ids are shown as "never logged in" and almost none of them show email addys. it's basically a list of names.
