Directing conversational threads using the subject field Can't Post

The software that were using now, Gossamer Threads is significantly different than motet is many areas but none so significant as the subject field in the various conversational threads.

In motet, once a topic is started all the information posted in it stay in it. There was never a need to "assign" the post to any particular place.

In Gossamer Threads, it's having an identical subject field that will keep the thread of a particular conversation together. It's also the subject field that will be a pathway to finding previously posted information. So for example, the information about summer programs for writers that's contained in a post entitled Confused might be difficult to find by next week and all but lost by next month.

When I see this happening, I'm going to edit the suject field of the post to reflect the conversation so that the info remains identifiable and that people know the nature of the discussion and join in.

What I'm hoping is that eventually, patrons will begin to use the subject field to direct their own conversational threads.
