Is there a way to just view new posts? when I go to the main page, I see the folders with new posts but when I click on them I have to wade through all these threads I've already read.
Assuming you're using "flat view", in Edit Profile:Display Settings make sure In flat view, when viewing thread: is set to "jump to first unread post". When you enter a thread, it should jump you straight to the first post marked NEW.
If you're looking at a forum in expanded/threaded view, new posts will have a yellow page icon in the left-hand column instead of a black and white one.
There is one situation, temporarily, where this doesn't necessarily hold true:
NEW means a post you haven't seen before--in this program, under your current username. If it's a thread that was moved over from the archive, it may contain old posts that, as far as this program knows, you haven't seen before, even if you previously read them under Motet.
Once you've entered the thread/topic once, it assumes you've seen all the posts and remembers that. Next time you enter, you'll get the proper NEW markers.
If, for some reason, you're experiencing something that doesn't fit with the above behavior, let me know and I'll see if I can figure out what the problem is.
