Ooops! Sorry to be such a pain.

don't be sorry sherlwats, no pain, no gain. in fiction, characters who are pain the ass are more interesting than antiseptic ones...

You write fiction, Creative? I know I'm being presumptuous--both in thinking you write fiction and in thinking you might enjoy fiction. I write fiction, and since this board covers the gamut of writing I hope to see you in some of those topics.

Re: [Pollyanna] Your Writing [In reply to] Can't Post

I, too, have returned after an extended time away to find my login no longer works (mbari), the forum I created cannot be posted to(Your Writing - Letters from the Desert of Love"), and the format is foreign. I am heading to Fresh Press, and will occaisionally come back to P&W.
I do want to let the powers that be know that I almost always find anything I need about the "business of writing" in your magazine, to which I subscribe. I understand the need for change (I am a computer software trainer), and I agree that perhaps disk storage space being a premium, letting aspiring (and published) writers post work takes up many gigobytes, but I always welcomed the opportunity to read other's work, and post my own for comment. I never minded the "fly by" silly posts...sometimes they helped me laugh at my own seriousness. Frankly, I will miss posting here. Hope to see posts over at Fresh Press of the same veteran (and novice) writers that I read and enjoyed here.

Sylvia

No, we do not post our work here for comment or publicity. You may, however, point us to your website -- as you already to at the end of each message.

Posting your work [In reply to] Can't Post

In addition to what David has told you, the sticky thread at the beginning of this topic will direct you to sites that welcome the posting of original work.
