Well... I suppose what I mean is, sure there's a heirarchy, that's obvo, but my dad was in charge of a program and would never do that to the top student (pressure) or to those in the upper portion because they might tear each other apart. And tiered programs, with their unhealthy competition, etc., around money, etc. Anyway, I was told something similar about a wait list, that I was the top person on it (not for writing, for painting, at School of the Art in Chicago, years ago). And then the person who'd said it said, "Oh my God I wasn't supposed to tell you that." I'm assuming we fundamentally disagree.
Sorry lbean. Congratulations to you if you read this! Please don't take this as a a put-down. I probably should have kept it to myself... Congrats! If I heard that I would be on cloud nine, which is where I hope you are!!!
