Re: [megmarcu] Has Anybody Made a Final Decision?

Hmmm. These choices are stressful, no?
Everyone is different, but as someone older, I can tell you what I would tell my 20 something self to do.
The MA at Davis sounds great. It's funded, you have a chance to live and explore a different area of the country. Grad programs have the benefit of an "instant friend" world, which is completely different from moving somewhere cold. You can take workshops and write. Also, while the MA isn't a gateway to tenure track (and what is?!) it still qualifies you for teaching positions, grant writing jobs, etc. A BA seems to be worth about spit these days.
After the MA, take time off from school. At least 2-3 years. You simply need to live out of the school bubble for a while. For one, you need to appreciate how awesome school is compared to actually working. Then apply for your MFA. Don't worry about some "blacklist." Bottom line is schools want good writers and these writing professors...they are wonderful but not exactly the most organized people, and most of them drink heavily. I'd be shocked if they remembered.
As for Michigan, the problem is once you graduate and friends leave, it won't the same place anymore. Sometimes the ground shifts beneath your feet, so it's better to move before that. If after moving around you decide your heart belongs there, guess what? Barring major Michigan earthquake, it will still be there.
