Isn't thas so true?! I guess it's because since the basic subjects are pretty much the same in all countries unless you need to study a different culture or a different language, you just don't go to another country. however, another reason might be that the US have so many world-class schools that are just too attractive, lol. Actually, in China, people consider going abroad a valuable experience to add in their resume. Of course, it would be better if you had a degree from a prestigious American university, but other European countries might work as well, except if you'd have to learn another language.
