Called around to the different schools I'm waiting for today (either those that haven't notified yet or those that haven't notified ME yet), and here's the scorecard for the ones I got a hold of (most of these stats are for fiction, as most places asked my genre):
Greensboro: As expected, very nice and helpful. Applications are still under consideration, as all have said.
New Orleans: Applications are still under review. The person I spoke to said notifications would be sent out in mid-April (really???), but I'm hoping she was just saying that so I wouldn't hold them to April 1 or something.
Rutgers-Newark: I don't know about ALL applications, but for my file, I was told "no final decision yet." So that might be promising to others out there, too.
ASU: The person I got a hold of (at the main number for the dept./program) said she had a list of 5 names of people accepted (and that they were only taking 5). I wasn't on it, unfortunately. Those 5 have (I think) been contacted already, but she didn't have a waitlist or anything yet, so she said that was all she could tell me and wished me the best. (She was very nice--as were, I think, all of the people I spoke to.)
There are still a couple more I'm waiting on but wasn't able to get a hold of (namely, Houston, LSU, and Oregon, but supposedly Oregon doesn't want calls right now and LSU sent out letters today (according to TSE)!).
Not to make UNCG overwhelmed with calls, but for other waiters, you might want to give them a call (especially if your online status shows missing documents). My application materials from the grad school haven't been shipped over to the department yet, and whomever I spoke with at the department said it could be because it's a slow process or maybe they're missing something at the Graduate School and holding the file. YIKES! She said my writing sample, etc., would still be considered and that it wouldn't slow the process in the department, but that I should make sure the Grad School has everything just in case (so the dept. can have my recommendations, etc., on hand if they are interested in me as a candidate in the future). Just FYI!
Best of continued luck, everyone.
