Tsehai Publishers

Tsehai Publishers is where a writer becomes an author. As we select our manuscripts carefully and work very hard to achieve the highest editorial quality, we also offer a wealth of beautifully designed books to devour with pleasure, and to give as thoughtful gifts.

We are an international press and our immediate mission is to provide a venue for influential writers whose works may otherwise go unpublished. Through these efforts we hope to achieve our wider goals of fostering intercultural dialogue and social justice.

Ugly Duckling Presse

We favor emerging, international, and “forgotten” writers with well-defined formal or conceptual projects that are difficult to place at other presses. We also offer several curated series: the Eastern European Poets Series (publishing translations of poetic works from that area); the Dossier Series (specializing in conceptual and investigative works); the Lost Literature Series (bringing back neglected works of the 20th century); and 6x6, a poetry magazine. Our releases often contain handmade elements, calling attention to the labor and history of bookmaking.
