Jaded Ibis Press

Jaded Ibis Press publishes innovative (experimental, avant-garde, hybrid, cross genre, multimedia) works of literature. We research and publish narratives that represent a continuum of literary history and the future of narrative arts – from clay tablets and illuminated manuscripts (history) to interactive and brain computer interfaces (future). Our intent is to facilitate the convergence of diverse media and art forms with technology, and give wide exposure to literary, visual and musical artists of exceptional talent.

Kore Press

We seek book-length manuscripts in poetry, memoir, short fiction and creative nonfiction, written by women, that reflect the highest standards of literary quality. We are open to work that is genre-bending and/or experimental. In 2009 we will not be considering novel manuscripts. We do remain interested in short story collections.

Lemon Shark Press

Flash Fabulism, Nouveau Noir, and Childhood Memoirs slightly experimental in nature. We are venturing into the Futuristic for an upcoming novel, but it is literary although edgy.

Lilly Press

Lilly Press publishes fiction/poetry chapbooks/anthologies/journals. Seeking imaginative work that lasts in your memory long after the reading. Accept artwork and photography submissions for Journal.

Litmus Press

Dedicated to supporting innovative, cross-genre writing, Litmus press publishes the work of translators, poets, and other writers, and organizes public events in their support. We encourage interaction between poets and visual artists by featuring contemporary artworks on the covers of our full-length books and in the pages of Aufgabe, our annual literary journal. By actualizing the potential linguistic, cultural and political benefits of international literary exchange, we aim to ensure that our poetic communities remain open-minded and vital.

Little Red Tree Publishing

Our goal is to publish books that are accessible to everyone, combining our desire to educate and our love of quality books with an interest in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, music, art, design, history and photography. We are enthused about our books, as we hope others would be, to read them and own them as lovely books.

Lost Horse Press

Mayapple Press

Mayapple Press is a small literary press founded in 1978 by poet and editor Judith Kerman. We focus on literature not often celebrated by either the mainstream or the avant-garde. This includes poetry which is both challenging and accessible; women’s writing; Great Lakes/Northeast literature; the immigrant experience; science fiction poetry; Jewish literature; and poetry in translation.
