BatCat Press

BatCat Press publishes handbound limited editions of awesome poetry and prose. We aim to publish books, chapbooks, and broadsides that are the perfect combination of excellent writing and interesting design.

Part of the mission of BatCat Press is to provide students a unique behind-the-scenes experience in publishing. The press is staffed and operated by the students of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, PA.

Boxfire Press

We publish short stories and novels in the sci-fi and fantasy genres, loosely defined. We also publish creative nonfiction.

C&R Press

C&R Press began in 2006 as a literary press committed to publishing books from new and emerging poets whose work might otherwise be ignored by commercial publishers. We were interested in supporting authors whose thoughtful and imaginative contribution to contemporary literature deserved recognition and support. We've since expanded our catalog to include exciting new fiction and nonfiction, too.

Coffee House Press

We fulfill our mission by publishing books that advance the craft of writing; books that present the dreams and ambitions of peoples who have been under-represented in published literature; books that help establish a new common ground for all Americans.

eLectio Publishing

We are first and foremost a Christian publisher. However, we do not necessarily limit our submissions to non-fiction theologically-centered works. We are looking for anything that is generally wholesome in nature, whether it is fiction or non-fiction. Our general guidelines are as follows. Founded in 1955, George Braziller, Inc. is a small, independent publishing house based in New York City. We pride ourselves on consistently publishing books of exceptional content and quality, as well as consistently discovering new writers and exploring new areas in the world of art. MilSpeak Books

MilSpeak Books, the nonprofit EBook publishing division of MilSpeak Foundation (501c3), publishes creative works by military people. By developing new audiences, creating new avenues for delivery, and encouraging creativity among military people, MilSpeak Books aspires to make creative works by military people directly relevant to the public, while diminishing the military stereotype, assisting military people assimilate their experience through writing, preserving the history of everyday military life, and increasing civilian understanding about military life.

New Rivers Press

New Rivers Press is interested in literary work of every character, but especially in diverse work that's aesthetically challenging and has a social conscience. Our Many Voices Project competition (Sept. 15 - Nov. 1) seeks the best new literary prose and poetry from new and emerging writers. Our Electronic Book Series (July 1 – Sept. 1) seeks manuscripts in popular fiction genres. During open submissions (April-June), we are interested in reading the best work from writers in all stages of their careers. Founded in New York in 1968, the not-for-profit Press has now published over 330 books.

Patasola Press

Patasola Press is an independent press based in New York. Our primary goal is to publish stunning and courageous work by established and emerging authors. We love work that takes risks and overwhelms the reader. We have a special focus on publishing female writers. We're interested in translation in any sense of the word.

Poet's Haven, The

The Poet's Haven is a place for artists across a wide and diverse spectrum to feel safe seeing their work published. We are open to unsolicited submissions from both experienced, published creators and talents new to submitting work for publication. We publish online galleries, chapbooks, anthologies, and audio podcasts.

Queen's Ferry Press

As an independent publisher of collections of literary fiction, Queen’s Ferry Press is committed to offering writing that conveys via its textual structuring and emotive interpretation.

Sibling Rivalry Press

Founded in 2010, Sibling Rivalry Press is an independent publishing house based just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas, in the small town of Alexander. Our mission is to develop, promote, and market underground artistic talent—those who don’t quite fit into the mainstream. SRP is proud to be the home of Assaracus, the world’s only print journal of gay male poetry and one of Library Journal's Best New Magazines. Tupelo Press

Tupelo Press, which released its first five books in fall 2001, is an independent, literary press devoted to discovering and publishing works of poetry, literary fiction and nonfiction by emerging and established writers. Tupelo Press is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit company.
