BOMB is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented intern to assist the Development Associate with fundraising initiatives and capacity building one day per week. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how both magazines and non-profits function. This intern will work closely with the Development Associate to research potential funders, develop grant narratives, proofread proposals and develop business plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong research skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This intern will be required to pay a high level of attention to detail while grasping big-picture, long-term goals. Previous experience working in a non-profit is a plus!
This internship require a one day a week commitment of three to four months.

BOMB Magazine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and although there is no stipend available, as an intern at BOMB, you will have the opportunity to write for the magazine's blog and contribute to other projects as needed, as well as help out at launch events, art fairs, literary readings, and auctions.
