At Parka we believe that the people who create books should be the first to make a profit.
Our goal is to create a new kind of publisher: a digital press that eschews the old model. Rather than invest heavily on paper printing, we digitally publish books at a fraction of the cost and make sure authors and readers share the savings.
We believe that authors have a right to own and control their work. Our deals are only for the digital rights for a book, leaving authors open to pursue traditional book deals.
We are interested in publishing great books by dedicated authors.
