Page Lambert

Page Lambert’s published writing is widely anthologized, appearing in dozens of collections. Her most recent essays (“Never for Sale” and “Mother Tongue”) appear in Langscapes and Sojourns: Landscapes for the People. Her short story “The Widow of Loreto” appears in Huffington Post. Her most recent poetry appears in the Santa Fe Literary Review. Forthcoming Spring 2018, her chapter “The Rural American West” will be included in Fulcrum Books publication, The Light Shines from the West. Lambert is also the author of the award-winning memoir In Search of Kinship (a Rocky Mountain best-seller), and the novel Shifting Stars (a Mountains and Plains Book Award finalist). An excerpt from her novel-in-progress All the Water Yet to Come received the 2015 Writers Studio Festival First Place Award for fiction, and she’s been featured in The Denver Post and on the cover of The Bloomsbury Review. Lambert received the “Wise Woman Fellowship Award” from A Room of Her Own Foundation the same year her popular blog, All Things Literary/All Things Natural, received the Colorado Authors’ League “Best Blog of the Year Award.” Lambert designed and teaches “The Writing Life: Concepts, Practices, and Professionalism” (a graduate course for the University of Denver/University College’s professional creative writing program) and is currently in the process of designing the Professional Research curriculum for the program. Lambert has been a writing coach and leader of creative adventures for 20 years. Her “River Writing Journeys for Women” were hailed by Oprah's O magazine in 2006 as “One of six great all-girl getaways of the year.” She’ll be co-leading her 20th annual “River Writing Journey for Women” in 2017, her 11th annual “Literature & Landscape of the Horse Retreat” in 2018, and her 5th “Peru: Weaving Words & Women Retreat” in 2018. A founding member of Women Writing the West, Lambert serves as an adviser to the Rocky Mountain Land Library and is a Fellow with the International League of Conservation Writers. She writes from her home in the mountains west of Denver, Colorado.
