The program offers partial and full funding. The program offers a TAships, numerous graduate assistantships, scholarships, Connors Writing Center and Research Department employment, internships with Portsmouth Music Hall Writer’s Series, editorial opportunities with Barnstorm.

This program hosts the Writers Series—campus visits and readings by prominent writers in fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Master classes or Q&A sessions are part of each visit. Students in the MFA program run their own monthly reading series, Read Free or Die. Welcomes writers of both realistic and fantasy/sci-fi fiction.
