The program offers assistantships, scholarships, and fellowships. The program also offers teaching internships with Caldera Arts, professional writing internships with The Workhouse, and editorial internships with Cutthroat.

Other Features: 

The program hosts a Distinguished Visiting Writers series, which has hosted writers Geraldine Brooks, CA Conrad, Karen Finneyfrock, Tiana Kahakauwila, Colleen Kinder, and James Prosek.

The program hosts biannual ten-day residencies in June and November at the Caldera Arts Center, located in an old-growth forest on the shores of the Blue Lake on the east side of the Cascade mountain range.

The priority application deadline is February 1; the final application deadline is April 1.
