Located in downtown Manhattan, The Writers Room is a nonprofit urban writers' colony that provides writers with affordable workspace in New York City. Facilities include a large loft with forty-two partitioned desks, a writers’ reference and research library, Internet access, a LexisNexis account, storage for computers and materials, a kitchen/lounge, and a telephone room.
