Berl's Brooklyn Poetry Shop

(347) 687-2375
Type: Indie Bookstore

Berl's Brooklyn Poetry Shop got its start as a pop-up shop at the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene selling small-press books and chapbooks. Now located in the Brooklyn neighborhood, Dumbo, Berl's has a permanent space to host events, readings, and sell the hard-to-find small press chapbooks they're known for, as well as full-length collections from small presses. Farrah Field runs the shop with her husband Jared White who enjoy showcasing contemporary poetry and handmade books, and are planning on carrying a curated selection of children's poetry.
